Official launch of the 16th edition of the Torch of Peace in the province of Cibitoke

Under the theme: "Serving Burundi well in the management of public affairs", the province of Cibitoke warmly welcomed the Torch of Peace on Thursday, November 3, 2022.
Launched on Wednesday evening, at the Boulevard del'Indépendance en mairie in Bujumbura, by the head of state, the Torch of Peace will tour the state until the 12th of this month.
"The population of the province of Cibitoke is now aware of the need to take advantage of the dividends of peace to devote themselves to community development work", said Bizoza Careme, Governor of the province of Cibitoke during the community plastering works carried out on Friday 5 November 2022 at Ecole Fundamental of RUSESEKA in the MABAYI Municipality of the same province.
